Welcome to the Wetland Ecology Lab

Research in the Cherry Wetland Ecology Lab aims to understand the various mechanisms influencing the structure and function of wetland ecosystems. The majority of our research is focused on responses of tidal marshes to global environmental changes, including climate change and nutrient enrichment. We also work in inland freshwater wetlands, and are expanding our scope to include research in marsh-mangrove ecotones.
